ACPO Rural Crime

Agricultural and Farm Security Services UK

The theft of plant and agricultural machinery is now a significant area of organised criminality of huge concern to rural communities. Alongside the growing problem of metal theft it represents a major national policing challenge which will only be addressed successfully if law enforcement works alongside industry, Crimestoppers and local communities.

This national inaugural Rural Crime Seminar has now provided a forum for all these groups to come together for the first time to discuss the current issues and formulate a plan for the future.

The event focuses on greater collaboration and is aimed at representatives from law enforcement agencies, the agricultural community, agricultural and farm security service providers, local community organisations and other key stakeholders.

A ‘View on Demand’ service will be operating following this event, allowing delegates and colleagues who were unable to attend the Conference in person to view all of the presentations. First Sight Media will be filming the speakers during the Conference and placing them on a dedicated website, along with the powerpoint slides that will be used by each speaker

General access to this service for a year will cost £5 for non-delegates. Further details can be found post event via a ‘View on Demand’ button which will appear on this page.
