Farol Ltd may be a new name to you, but we have been supplying and supporting agricultural, horticultural and industrial machinery for over 30 years, across Southern and Central England. 

The business was formed in the 1970’s in South Oxfordshire by George Vellacott and Roland Harris, with George subsequently taking on full share holding. The business is still owned by the Vellacott family, and with George’s retirement in 2000 his son Matthew took over as Managing Director and his brother Ben heading up Group Aftersales.

Today Farol have 5 depots spanning the south coast to the midlands and are one of the largest John Deere dealers in the UK with Agricultural and Turf franchises. As a company we pride ourselves on the ability to provide aftersales excellence, and being diverse enough to respond to changing market demands.

Agricultural machinery still accounts for a large proportion of our business, but we also have a large tyre division, transport division, as well as an established Groundcare and homeowner division that has been consistently growing over recent years.

The introduction of the John Deere Professional Turf product line into the Farol portfolio, is an important move that will allow us to provide a greater scope of products and services, to an even wider spectrum of customers.
