Farm491 and The Landing announce new partnership

4th October 2019

Farm491 is excited to be partnering with The Landing to broaden the reach of AgriTech support throughout the UK.

The Landing is the technology enterprise incubator for high-growth companies at the heart of MediaCity UK, Manchester. They offer workspace, business support, user experience testing labs, maker labs and events to their growing community of members.

As The Landing’s AgriTech partner, Farm491’s new satellite location in the North of England will provide our members with discounted meeting space at their Manchester HQ, as well as access to exclusive events and networking opportunities.

The collaborative partnership will see Farm491 and The Landing co-host a number of events and workshops at both sites, extending Farm491’s reach to new areas of the UK and engaging with an even greater audience of AgriTech/agri-food entrepreneurs.

Luke Halsey, Entrepreneur in Residence at Farm491, commented, “The Landing have a good reputation with high growth tech companies and so we are excited to bring our AgriTech knowledge to complement this. The collaboration will provide AgriTech entrepreneurs the best chances of success.”

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Farm491 on this initiative. The Landing is a living lab for innovators and entrepreneurs working across all technologies and AgriTech represents a growing market that we are keen to tap into. The Farm491 partnership and focus on AgriTech also crosses over with many of our other initiatives across green technology, AI and IOT and we are looking forward to collaborating and unlocking the potential of all those involved.” commented James Summerton, Business Development Manager at The Landing.
