Farm491 Supports KTN's AgriTech Investment Showcase

8th May 2019

We are excited to announce that this year we are supporting KTN’s AgriTech Investment Showcase, alongside Rabobank. The showcase event will enable up to 14 companies to present their investment opportunity to an audience of investors dedicated in targeting AgriTech opportunities from the UK.

KTN have recognised the ongoing need for private investment in AgriTech to further realise the sustained public investments and technical excellence within the UK. A priority for KTN over the last two years has been to support and build the AgriTech investment community. This objective is something that aligns with our own, so it is fantastic to be supporting such an initiative this year.

All companies selected for the training programme will have the opportunity to pitch to Tom Ritchie of Rabobank ahead of the showcase. They will also benefit from an additional training session being run here at Farm491, hosted by our very own Entrepreneur in Residence, Luke Halsey. The session will focus on markets and valuation.

On 25th September, all participants must present their final pitch presentation to the selection panel (comprised of KTN, Innovate UK, Rabobank and Farm491) to be eligible to be selected as one of the 14 companies to present at the showcase on the 14th October. The showcase will take place in London to coincide with the World AgriTech Summit which is taking place on the 15th and 16th.

Applications close at 12:00 on 6th June 2019.To find out more information and to apply please click here.
