The all-new Väderstad E-Control Mobile makes calibration of the seed drill or planter easier than ever before. By downloading the E-Control Mobile app to a smartphone, the farmer can calibrate his Väderstad machine only using his smartphone.

Väderstad have offered wireless machine control, via the iPad-based control system Väderstad E-Control since 2013. Väderstad E-Control Mobile is the next step in this evolution, fully focused on user-friendliness and mobility.   

- Väderstad E-Control Mobile makes it possible for the driver to calibrate the seed drill or planter only using a smartphone. It is a very intuitive and quick solution making it easy to calibrate the Väderstad machine for top performance, says Mattias Hovnert, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, at Väderstad.

Since the smartphone wirelessly connects to the Väderstad machine, the farmer can move freely while calibrating, thereby benefiting from full flexibility and mobility.

- Väderstad E-Control Mobile is an extremely mobile solution making it possible for the farmer to perform the calibration close to the seed drill or planter, says Mattias Hovnert, at Väderstad, and adds:

- When the farmer is changing fields or switching crops, Väderstad E-Control Mobile will save valuable time for the farmer. This will be especially important at hectic periods at the farm or when the contractor is going from field to field.

When the farmer has downloaded the free Väderstad E-Control Mobile application to his smartphone, he can connect the smartphone to the protected wireless network of the Väderstad machine. Väderstad E-Control Mobile connects as a guest to the network, while the iPad is still the main controlling device in the field.

Väderstad E-Control Mobile will be introduced at Agritechnica 2019 and will be available on the market during 2020.
