An industry first!  – We have been working with Agrointelli and RoboVeg to demonstrate the first commercially available, fully autonomous harvesting system in the UK. Here we have the Agrointelli Robotti running on our NTRIP RTK network with the RoboVeg RV1 mounted onto the three-point linkage. The RoboVeg RV1 utilises an integrated vision system to selectively harvest the broccoli that fits the required specification. With the potential of harvesting 2,400 head of broccoli per hour, is this the solution to the current labor shortage faced in UK agriculture? This is a great demonstration of how our network is advancing with technology and helping to shape the future of agriculture
